Ina Alexandria Laemmerzahl. My best friend in college and I lost her from my own stupidity and my poor character at the time. I owe you so much Ina. I miss you still. I'm sorry.

Ina’s Song

I woke this morning The leaves were falling

The sun changed the night into he the day

I woke this morning The leaves were falling

The orange that painted the sky shown on the wall

Thought about yesterday

I feel the moment is gone

Though about my dreams

Some I’ll come to know

Some will never show

And I’ll stay even as time goes on.

I walked this morning the leaves were falling

I thought about our time last night asleep you still lie

I walked this morning the leaves were falling

You woke and joined me in the morning mist

Can you stay here

Just for a short while

can you find cheer

during our precious time

so little at a time

And I’ll stay even as time goes on.

I stopped this morning the leaves stopped falling

I gathered you in my arm the sun slowed its rise

I stopped this morning the leaves stopped falling

I laid you softly down you looked to the sky

Lay in the breeze

Can you hear the rustling wind

Lay beneath the trees

The leaves are falling slow

The leaves are falling slow
